These molds are engineered for serious production and designed to help create professional quality concrete planters efficiently and consistently.
Preparing the Mold
Assemble the fiberglass mold and securely tighten all bolts before pouring.
Make sure the silicone liner is seated properly inside the mold to ensure clean edges and a smooth surface finish.
Pouring the Concrete
Mix your concrete to the desired consistency.
Pour evenly into the mold while ensuring the silicone drainage button remains visible. Do not pour above this point, as the button forms the planter drainage hole.
Lightly vibrate or tap the mold to release trapped air bubbles and improve surface quality.
Curing
Allow the concrete to fully cure before demolding.
Typical curing time ranges from 24–48 hours depending on concrete mix design and environmental conditions.
Demolding
Begin by removing all bolts from the fiberglass shell.
Carefully lift the outer shell away from the planter. If the mold feels stuck, insert an air compressor nozzle into the built in air release holes and apply pressure to help release the shell.
Once removed, slowly peel the silicone liner away from the concrete planter from one side to the other until fully separated.
Finishing Touches
Each planter includes a built in drainage hole.
Light sanding or edge cleanup may be performed if desired for a refined finished appearance.
Care and Maintenance
Clean molds after each use using mild soap and water.
Store molds in a cool, dry environment away from prolonged sunlight exposure.
With proper maintenance, these molds are built to withstand hundreds of pours and long term production use.
