Planter Dimensions Produced
- Large Planter: 17" L × 17" W × 21" H
- Medium Planter: 15" L × 15" W × 18" H
- Small Planter: 13" L × 13" W × 15" H
These molds are designed for serious production environments focused on creating consistent, high quality architectural concrete planters.
Preparing the Mold
Assemble the fiberglass mold and securely tighten all bolts before pouring.
Ensure the silicone liner is seated properly inside the mold to achieve clean corners and smooth surface finishes.
Pouring the Concrete
Mix your concrete to the desired consistency.
Pour evenly into the mold while keeping the silicone drainage button visible. Do not pour above this level, as the button forms the planter drainage hole.
Lightly vibrate or tap the mold to help release trapped air bubbles and improve finish quality.
Curing
Allow the concrete planter to fully cure before demolding.
Typical curing times range between 24–48 hours depending on your concrete mix and environmental conditions.
Demolding
Remove all bolts from the fiberglass shell.
Carefully separate the fiberglass shell from the planter. If the mold feels tight, place an air compressor nozzle into the built in air release holes and apply pressure to help loosen the shell.
Once removed, slowly peel the silicone liner away from the planter until fully separated.
Finishing Touches
Each planter includes a built in drainage hole.
Light sanding or edge refinement may be performed if desired for a cleaner finished appearance.
Care and Maintenance
Clean molds after each use with mild soap and water.
Store molds in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight exposure.
With proper care, these molds are built to withstand hundreds of pours and long term production use.
